The airport version of EB 610 C is a sealed unit vvithout

removable components with its battery recharged

externally. The Standard version operates on commercial

dry batteries ör on a rechargeable battery.

OPERATİON PRINCIPLE

The cloverleaf EBINGER hand held metal detector operates
on the EB damping system. The search head generates an
alternating electromagnetic field, vvhich vvill be influenced
by metal objects. Such electric changes modify the
oscillation amplitude in the detector electronics vvhich are
converted into an audio and visual alarm signal.
The detector does not interact with heart pacemakers,
magnetic recording material ör hearing aids ete. it meets
the industrial standards concerning electromagnetic
compatibility. Strong electrical interference from outside is
entirely compensated by the detectors dynamic operation
mode. Strong detection signals cause the detector to
svvitch to a static operation mode shoming metal vvithout
detector movement..
